Ask about the exact item if a photograph shows several designs. Keep the packaging and purchase record together. A photograph or familiar-looking card alone should not be treated as proof of authenticity.
Compare the complete price
Use the full price of each selected item and compare products of the same weight and purity where possible. A simple price-per-gram calculation can help organise your shortlist: divide the complete product price by its stated gold weight in grams. This is a comparison of retail prices, not a quotation of the metal’s market value or a promise of a future resale price.
